Business Development Executive – Freight Forwarding
We are working with a freight forwarding organisation who is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to gain new business for the Freight Forwarding organisation and promote their Import & Export, Airfreight and Seafreight service.
Specialising in the movement of Freight, Imports and Exports for Airfreight and Seafreight globally, our client is located in the East Midlands.
We are seeking a candidate who has gained experience of working in Freight Forwarding Sales and Business Development, with a proven track record of securing New Business, achieving sales targets, retaining and increasing revenue with existing customers and promoting Airfreight and Seafreight services across a Midlands territory.
The successful candidate is required to be conversant in Freight Forwarding terminology, products and services for Airfreight and Seafreight Imports and Exports. Possess a proactive approach to sales, canvassing and cold calling, able to work off their own initiative and add value to an already successful organisation. Create an active Sales pipeline, arrange and attend face to face customer visits, prepare Sales tenders and quotations and follow up with all potential new business customers.
