An exciting opportunity has become available for an INSIDE SALES EXECUTIVE to join a well respected Freight & Logistics organisation promoting their wide range of Logistics services. Reporting to and working closely with the National Business Development Manager and external sales team, the responsibilities of the role will be to gain new business contacts, increase and retain existing business, arrange sales appointments where required and assist in the promotion of European Roadfreight products and services.
This is the perfect role for a commercially minded individual who has gained experience of;
• Sourcing suppliers, sub contractors and 3rd parties in the European Road freight forwarding industry sector.
• Negotiating costings with 3rd parties, overseas agents and network partners and
• Building strong working relationships with both customers and contractors,
• Establishing a professional and reliable service for all customers’ requirements.
• Maximising profitability and increasing revenue/margin for all EU markets and Routes.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they have a desire to succeed, natural flair for indirect sales and a keen negotiator, possesses a “My Money” attitude and able to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels. Creating a sense of urgency to gain business and always striving to increase current business and satisfy customers full freight requirements.
