TRANSPORT/WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Our client has an established and enviable global network of offices, with over 8000 employees in 40 different countries and 300 offices. We are working closely with our client to appoint an experienced TRANSPORT/WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR to work in their London Heathrow location.

We are seeking a hands on Transport/ Warehouse Supervisor who can oversee the whole of the Transport and Warehouse facility of a busy freight forwarding and Logistics branch.

This role will require a responsible, conscientious, self motivated candidate who is capable and experienced of running the busy day to day transport department, Load planning, routing, scheduling, liaising with Drivers, Sub-contractors, Internal & External Customers, managing a team of Transport operators etc.

The duties of role will include;
? Full responsibility of ensuring that all collections and deliveries of freight are on time, to the required standards, within budget, and with excellent customer service
? Ensure that all operational activities meet legislative requirements
? Manage staff and lead by example, undertaking activities effectively and in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
? Overseeing the safe and legal loading of vehicles and ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained
? Continuously identifying areas to improve the transport and warehouse solutions

For the position of Transport/Warehouse Supervisor, we require a candidate who has gained a CPC National/International qualification, Aviation Security clearance (ideally to Level F min Level A-B), NXCT certificate, and possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of Working Time Regulations, Driving Hours etc.
