An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Commercial Branch Manager for a European Road Freight organisation.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated, determined and enthusiastic candidate who has gained experience of working at managerial level within European Roadfreight. This role requires both operational and sales expertise as well as the ability to motivate a team, leading by example, gain new business and drive the business forward within the European Roadfreight.

Offering clients a comprehensive freight forwarding service, our client offers imports and exports for full loads, part load and groupage roadfreight - for EU and non EU markets. They have a strong overseas network and competitive industry rates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running and overseeing the European Roadfreight divison, managing the team of operations staff, arranging and attending sales visits, gaining new business, retaining exisiting business achieving divisional targets, hold full P&L and budgetary responsibility as well as actively being a member of the operations team.
