Duties:
Managing truck and intermodal transports in compliance with requested schedules and at optimal cost comply with legal and Client’s-internal regulations as well as security-relevant and packaging instructions
Confirming to service and quality requirements
Monitoring and controlling loading slots/shipments in due time
Evaluating service levels of service providers and perform non-conformance management
Produce of required transport documents, control and file documents Perform cost control in case of special arrangements and demurrage inform on incidents or changes in the planning and execution process
Monitoring all deliveries through to final delivery date, ensuring that pro-active information is provided if there is any deviation from the agreed delivery date

Overall
Booking freight collections for UK/International orders
Reconcile transport invoices
Bills of Lading
Signing off invoices and checking rates before passing for authorization
Informing customers off arrival times of goods and sending them scanned docs

Experience in transport is required for this role
Use of system Sap –will be considered as an advantage
