We are looking to recruit a Road Freight Forwarding Import / Export Operator; an indvidual who has experience and knowledge.

Duties:

Taking bookings from clients, laising with couriers in planning and costing of jobs in providing a cost effective but profitable quotation / soultion to the client.
To track and control shipments keeping the client well informed throughout.
Managing bookings on a daily basis ensuring agreed timescales are met.
Ensuring that Proof of Delivery / Collection are sufficiently completed with all relevant information for full loads and part loads and providing the client with all relevant paperwork
Control all security requirments
Identify and attract potential new clients to the business
to adhere to all company policy and proceedures
Communication skills are also key to this position, although customer liaision will be a daily part of the role therefore the ideal candidate is required to communicate appropriately with clients.

It is essential that all candidates wishing to be considered for this role should possess excellent geographical skills of the UK and Europe, have experience in dealing with clients in a professional manner, good IT skills are necessary to carry out this role competently.
