Life Sciences & Healthcare Operations Operator required to join this leading agent.
Working within a dedicated Life Sciences team to deliver a first-class service to our customers, Ideal applicant must have in-depth knowledge of Freight forwarding and Life Sciences logistics.
Duries:
· To execute the timely and complex Life Sciences shipments via Air, Ocean & Road as Import or Export shipments, depending on specific customer requirements.
· Ensuring all Life Science shipments are handled with the greatest attention to detail and care is required.
· Delivering a high standard of customer service to all customers internal & external.
· Processing customer requests in line with guidelines / internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Following of all customer instructions explicitly & highlighting of any deviation to product / process to the Team Leader
· Raising accurate shipment files in house forwarding system
· Working to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) at all times
· Knowledge of various passive and active packaging solutions to discuss with customers.
· Ensure all costs & sales are entered for each shipment and highlighting any loss-making files to the Team Leader
· Preparation of all Life Science shipment documentation required for export / import shipments.
· Liaising with suppliers / carriers in the booking of shipments
· General office duties including filing of documentation and shipment files Key Competencies (e.g. communication, problem solving etc.)
Monday to Friday 9-5.30
