| Excellent opportunity to join this successful, well established medium sized LHR based freight forwarder. The position is initially temporary and will, for the successful candidate go to permanent. You will have worked for a freight forwarder previously and have experience of the following; • To maintain CASS account: purchase approval, invoice queries (internal & external), Following up on Credits allocation of payments Spot rates & Statement reports for CEO • To maintain Transport Operation accounts: Internal sales invoicing, purchase approval, Invoice query resolution, allocation of the account entries. updating of query register • Unallocated cash : Following up on unallocated payments (where payments have been paid out in advance of shipment) by contacting suppliers for copy invoices, approving these invoices for London, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham prepaid invoices, Allocation of these accounts • Recording and allocation of Direct debits and reconciliation of GBP bank statement. • Raising cheques for prepaid shipments and supplier payments, recording and allocating these payments. • Providing internal support to the branches, Approval of purchase invoices for Manchester, Bristol, offices – domestic Following up with and assisting branches on internal invoice queries and updating of query register • Any other accounts work as needed to help in busy periods, over holidays etc. Excellent facility/working conditions and benefits. | ||
