| Our Global Client is currently seeking to recruit an Airfreight Export Clerk to join and provide support to their successful Airfreight Manchester Team; this is a 12 month maternity cover- contract with a review Overall we are seeking for an available immediately Candidate who has a hands on approach to their work and who has gained valuable experience of working in airfreight export operations. Handling shipments from start to finish, the successful candidate will need to be experienced in raising and completing all Airfreight Export documentation, preparing costing and quotations, managing customer relationships, customs entry compliant and be a team player with a dedicated approach to their work. Previous experience of working in FREIGHT FORWARDING and AIRFREIGHT EXPORT operations is essential for this role. Duties: • Processing Quotes processed. • Receive bookings from clients. • Arrange collection of goods. • Establish Routing & Rating. • Updating Clients with their status of shipments • Enter Shipment data in Operating Systems • Process AMS & NES • Check Credit Limits and liaise with Credit Control when necessary. • Print Documents; MAWB, HAWB, Manifests & Labels. • Pre-Alert overseas offices. • Invoicing, Job Costing & Purchase Invoice Approval. • Filing. Hours of Work: 09.00am-17.30pm (1 hour lunch)-You may required to work additional to meet the needs of the Client Rate per hour: Minimum £8.50-Maximum £9.50 Due to the Government Legislation –all Applicants must provide 5+ years references All applicants must be eligible to work in the EU Visit: www.firstchoiceuk.com | ||
