| Our Customer has been trading 25 years as a major player in Airfreight and Sea Freight supply-chain solutions to and from Asia, North/South America, South Africa, Australia and Europe They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Ocean/Air Freight Import Ops for their friendly busy Northwest Branch. Duties: Dealing with Freight Agents, Customer and Suppliers Quotes, bookings, collections, deliveries and invoicing Planning of container loads and preparation of all import documentation Entries and clearances- NES/CHIEF Dealing with enquiries and problem solving Creation and processing of ocean shipments both LCL and FCL Structuring scales of rates for new & existing customers and spot quoting Quotations for domestic customers and overseas agents Responsible for Key accounts (from start to finish) Maintain and develop new relationships with existing and new customers Stock Management Requirements: 5 +years ocean import freight experience-essential 3+ years airfreight import experience -essential Previous experience with key accounts –essential for this role Fully conversant with Sea/Air Import operational cycle Enthusiastic and driven personality Team player, able to work under own initiative and attention to detail Hours: 37.5 hours-09:00 AM – 5:30 PM -Monday- Friday (1hour lunch) Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 Benefits: to be discussed at interview This is a fabulous opportunity for a Freight Forwarding Candidate who is looking for the next level of career progression!
