| OCEAN PRICING CO-ORDINATOR - FREIGHT FORWARDING & LOGISTICS offering an open and negotiable salary-depending on experience, able to offer an immediate start We have a brand new opening for a OCEAN PRICING CO-ORDINATOR working for our Manchester based Freight Forwarding & Logistics organization. Duties: • Provide pricing on Bids • Provide quotations in line with Company time lines • Provide pricing, details of services and general information about the organization to clients. • Communicate with carriers as appropriate • Provide pricing to clients as and when required within the company time frame • Follow up with clients within a suitable time span to ascertain success of quotes • Log all quotes in the required format • Produce a month end report showing success rate and reason for not obtaining business • File details of all quotes in accessible format • Assist sales team with quotes, information about services and general enquiries • Provide leads on potential business • Maintain rates proposals for existing clients when required • Tender responses • Provide statistical reports to Sales and Management • The successful candidate will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and will be able to provide commercial support to the sales team and branches; in particular to maintain pricing information, provide quotations to clients and internal customers. • Liaison with Overseas offices Requirements/Skills: • Previous experience of the freight industry-Sea Freight (Imports/Exports)-Desired • Knowledge of Incoterms would be an advantage but not essential • IT Literate (word, excel-spreadsheets and PowerPoint)-Desired • Excellent communication skills • Able to work as part of a team in a busy environment • Enthusiastic and passionate for success • Able to probe for further development • Attention to detail and commercial awareness • All applicants must be eligible to work in the EU Please note: Our portfolio consists of a diverse cross section of Freight forwarding, Shipping and Logistic vacancies-www.firstchoiceuk.com –The Best People in Business! | ||
