We have a vacancy for an experienced TRANSPORT MANAGER to join a busy transport office, operating their own fleet of vehicles for UK collections and deliveries, Sameday and Next day services.
The role of TRANSPORT MANAGER requires a candidate who has a CPC and hands on experience of Fleet Management, managing Transport office staff and drivers, being actively involved in day to day operations, route & load planning etc.
Holding Profitability responsibility, the TRANSPORT MANAGER will ensure they are offering an efficient, profitable service meeting their customers requirements and maximising profitability at all time. Controlling spend on sub contractors and 3rd parties, temp staff etc, and identifying areas for improvement.
The successful candidate needs to have proven TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT experience, be able to communicate effectively across all levels with staff/colleagues and customers, understand the demands of a busy Sameday & Nextday Transport operation and able to jump on the desk and assist with operations and planning as and when required.
SHIPPING & LOGISTICS CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR
£22,000 basic salary
Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00pm
IMMEDIATE START – 3 to 6 Month Contract, leading to Permanent
We are working with a large Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation to recruit a new member of staff to join their Logistics division as an SHIPPING & LOGISTICS CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR. We require a candidate with excellent customer service and Microsoft Excel skills, who is hard working and dedicated in their approach.
A Temp to Perm position (initially a 3-6mth contract) and able to offer an immediate start, it is paying a salary of £22,000.

The successful candidate is required to have ideally worked in the LOGISTICS, SUPPLY CHAIN or FREIGHT FORWARDING industry. Possess outstanding communication and customer service skills, be computer literate including good knowledge of excel, able work with colleagues and customers across all levels in all global locations, remaining articulate and professional.
FREIGHT & LOGISTICS BILLING ANALYST

An immediate opening has become available for a FREIGHT & LOGISTICS BILLING ANALYST to work for a large Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organization based in Aston, Birmingham.
The role is offering an immediate start and requires a candidate who has ideally worked previously in International Freight, Shipping or Logistics and been involved with, or responsible for Billing and Analysing shipment costings.
Working on a prestigious Key Account customers contract the role will be to identifying and correct billings for shipments globally, for overland, Seafreight & Airfreight movements. Checking details of the consignments across various data sources, billing out and checking all costing elements are correct and inline with the SOP.
The successful candidate will need to possess excellent attention to detail skills and abilities, to be comfortable handling high volumes of numbers, and costing shipments of high revenues, be IT savvy and conversant in Microsoft Excel.
This is offering an immediate start, and a salary of £23,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.
