This is a full-time position based Didcot, Oxford. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. Working hours may vary depending on workload and requirements of the business. Actively seeking to recruit for a SEAFREIGHT EXPORT OPERATOR to work for a very prestigious global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation.

The role will require a candidate who has handled SEAFREIGHT EXPORT shipments, has a good knowledge of all Seafreight Export Documentation and is reliable, hard working and possesses good communication skills.

The role will include handling Seafreight Exports from taking booking details, raising Export Shipping documentation, liaising with Shipping Lines, overseas agents and both internal and external customers, shipping FCL & LCL Shipments, resolving any customer service issues, tracing and tracking freight through raising the customer invoice and arrangement collection of payment.

Working in a team environment the successful candidate will need to be able to operate Seafreight Exports within a team and off their own initiative.

This role is part of a team controlling all the collections and deliveries nationally in Germany, communicating directly with our clients Plants, a wide range of external suppliers and also with the transport carriers. This involves working with all sized vehicles from vans to artics with economy transit times of 2 days to express shipments which are booked within an hour so it covers the all aspect of standard domestic transport. This is a very busy role and is the largest individual team within our road freight department.
