Our client are looking for an Inside Sales/Telesales Specialist, working alone helping to grow the business. Predominantly in Irish and European Roadfreight but also Air and Sea.
Purpose of the role
As the Sales Specialist, the key objective is to support the business with its overall growth goals, working collaboratively with operational teams and reporting to UK Head of Sales, to obtain new business that compliments existing operations and manage accounts as they are onboarded.

Purpose of the role
As the Internal Sales Specialist, the key mission is to support the business with its overall growth goals, working collaboratively with Key Account Managers, Sales, Network Partners & Department Managers. Assist with the development and execution of a procurement and pricing policy for the business.
This role is a key role in supporting the long term growth of the business for the Company and helping to develop a first class network of partners for our customers.

Responsibilities:
Assist with pricing activities across the business i.e. formulation quotes,
completing and submitting tenders, and providing internal selling rates for sales
team (dry and perishable cargo / import export / air-sea-road)
Undertake the collection of rates monthly and maintain the pricing tool / auto
rating in Cargo Wise
Lead the marketing and the communication of the product offering across the
business
Review and analyse the customer base (past and current) to identify possible
sales leads and extension business. Engage in accordance with these leads with
the objective of re /securing business or additional volumes
Support with the evaluation and setting of customer margins
Identify market trends, potential customer needs, and explore new market
opportunities
Work closely across the business with sales, KAM, and Supply chain operations in
support of securing and implementation of extension and or new business
Commercial SOP ownership and rate maintenance
Make sure customer tariffs are maintained and SLA are current
Undertaking any other duties which may be requested
Requirements
Previous experience in the freight forwarding industry is a MUST
Understanding of the bigger picture
Understanding when to/when not to escalate
Providing relevant information to enable effective decision making

We have an opportunity for a Pricing Specialist to join our growing Ocean Pricing team. Reporting into our Regional Ocean Operations Manager, this core role will focus on providing support to both our internal Organisation Network and our UK Customers on commercial matters, primarily related to the pricing and procurement of Ocean related services.
The role
Provide quotations to sales staff, clients, branches and the extended Company Network, on an export and import & Cross trade basis.
To ensure those quotations are commercially aware, with very best pricing delivered for very best opportunities.
Handle pricing enquiries from Sales, Branch, Customer and or Network partner. Responding within set timelines using our system.
Where required procure buy rates to enable shipment and provide operations with routing, carrier information and contract details
Follow up quotation with customer with aim to secure business.
To ensure our rates remain competitive in the market. To meet with the manager/team regularly to review progress and update objectives.
Manage and share responsibilities on pricing Inbox.
Assist RFQ team/sales team with Ocean Product pricing on larger RFQs. Update Our company buying tool with rates when updates are available.
Qualifications
About you
A collaborative, innovative and commercially driven individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrable pricing experience already working at a similar level to this role, who can really strengthen our Commercial offering.
You will have both demonstrable pricing and or operational experience within Ocean Freight.
Experience within inside sales from a liner or freight forwarding background would be an advantage
