SPECIFICATION OF BAR MANAGER ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES;
. The day-to-day management of all bar staff and all events
2. To be the Designated Premises Supervisor.
3. The preparation of the weekly bar rota and the communication of shifts to FOH staff
4. To maintain a well-trained, well-presented and professionally minded rota of FOH staff
5. The day to day operational management of the bar and cellar area to include cellar management, stock rotation, bar hygiene, bar presentation, line cleaning and stock levels. It is the bar managers responsibility to ensure the bar is appropriately stocked with all retail products and bar service goods
6. To manage and improve the level and quality of service.
7. To be the main point of contact for bar stock deliveries
8. To perform a weekly line clean and ensure the highest standards of bar hygiene
9. To be the responsible contact for engineering visits and generally all bar related site visits
10. To manage and train staff to perform all bar related duties to include cellar operations, barrel changing, stock rotation and general cellar maintenance
11. To put in place a well communicated day to day, weekly and monthly cleaning and operations system and to ensure it is adhered to
12. To be responsible for the end of day cashing up and safe guarding of all bar
13. The bar manager will participate and manage the bar and floor area for all events and home games. You will work in co-operation with the management, kitchen and all FOH staff to ensure the service, cleanliness and atmosphere is set to a high and agreeable standard
14. To introduce, with consultation with the General Manager and Office Manager, revenue generating services that may be offered and suitable.
15. To ensure bar wastage costs are minimised and staff costs are sensibly managed, balancing high quality service levels with unnecessary expenditure
16. Weekly updates to the General Manager on any bar issues/performance related matters.

Our client is looking for an Internal Sales Specialist

Purpose of the role

As the Internal Sales Specialist, the key mission is to support the business with its overall growth goals, working collaboratively with Key Account Managers, Sales, Network Partners & Department Managers. Assist with the development and execution of a procurement and pricing policy for the business.
This role is a key role in supporting the long term growth of the business for the Company and helping to develop a first class network of partners for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Assist with pricing activities across the business i.e. formulation quotes, completing and submitting tenders, and providing internal selling rates for sales team (dry and perishable cargo / import export / air-sea-road)
Undertake the collection of rates monthly and maintain the pricing tool / auto rating in Cargo Wise
Lead the marketing and the communication of the product offering across the business
Review and analyse the customer base (past and current) to identify possible sales leads and extension business. Engage in accordance with these leads with the objective of re /securing business or additional volumes
Support with the evaluation and setting of customer margins
Identify market trends, potential customer needs, and explore new market opportunities
Work closely across the business with sales, KAM, and Supply chain operations in support of securing and implementation of extension and or new business
Commercial SOP ownership and rate maintenance
Make sure customer tariffs are maintained and SLA are current
Undertaking any other duties which may be requested

Requirements

Previous experience in the freight forwarding industry is a MUST
Understanding of the bigger picture
Understanding when to/when not to escalate
Providing relevant information to enable effective decision making
Able to react quickly whilst maintaining focus and attention to detail
Willing to support wider team as needed
Ability to identify, develop, and implement improved ways of working
Strong planning, organisation, and prioritising skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders
Experience with Microsoft Excel, PP & Word and Cargo Wise would be an advantage

Our client is looking for a Credit Controller

Purpose of the role

Strong critical thinking and decision making skills. He/she will play a major role in maximizing revenue and mitigating credit risk. He/she will collaborate with the sales department and operations team to implement an effective credit control system and resolve loan issues. Experience interacting and working with customers is important to ensure their needs are met and their credit fits in with the current risk portfolio.
You should also understand when its appropriate to renegotiate payment plans. The Credit Analyst should be prepared to provide financial reporting and analysis to C-level executives, obtain feedback and make appropriate improvements.

Key Accountabilities

Tasks
To ensure targets are met and collections are received in a timely manner
Demonstrated pro-active approach towards personal development and raised team productivity by 60% by streamlining existing processes
Reduced Debts and DSO to a Target Minimum per month. Ensured all receipts and credits are correctly allocated.
Managed customer accounts by ensuring any issues and queries were dealt with professionally and resolved quickly & efficiently ensuring no Payment Delays.
Prepared analysis of bad debts including making recommendations to the Finance Director for proposed bad debt write offs
Responsible for reconciliation of all accounts receivable general ledger accounts for the month end close process
Weekly Bank reconciliations in multi-currency
Monthly FX re-valuations to reconcile to Trial Balance
Produced daily reports for cash flow forecasting, reports for the Finance Director and ad-hoc reports.
Responsible for setting up customer credit accounts and ensuring customer accounts are not exceeding the credit limit
Using own initiative to solve problems within a timely manner and maintain a query log.
Established and maintained great customer relationships to maximize account performance.
Identified accounts that required special resolutions by consulting the Sales Representative and or escalating to management for reasonable resolution
Maintained accurate and up-to-date customer details and account records.
Obtained sufficient information to assess the credit-worthiness of newly proposed and existing customers and ensured that all clients meet the company requirements.
Updated 1,000 accounts, achieving talk time and money collection targets GBP3m
Achieved both individual and team goals
Experience with invoice financing and achieving collection targets based on internal KPIs set by Finance Director.

Password resets/Unlock ADP accounts and handle any other system related technical issues and escalate to the ADP team.
Handle probation review administration and tracking.
Oversee the HR email throughout the day, ensuring that queries are responded to with the SLA timeframes,
Handle and respond to HR Queries from line managers and employees whether that be on email, face to face or telephone.
Create contract letters.
Monitor and collate new joiner reference requests and ensure they are returned before the end of the new joiners probation period.
Create and update organisation charts.
Conduct exit interview follow up meetings.
Use the relevant teams channels to update the wider HR team on specific news e.g., new starters, leavers, employee changes etc.
Ensure the HRIS system is kept up to date with employee records.
Represent the HR department on the Charity Committee.
Support Office Admin/Reception as and when required.
Manage the HR Calendar and ensure all team holidays are captured.
All administration for the above.

Experience required
Proven experience as a HR Assistant/Administration experience.
Strong Administration skills.
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Organised and articulate.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written/verbal communication skills.
