We are working with a Medium sized Freight Forwarder who have an exciting opportunity for an Air Export Clerk.
Looking for 2 to 4 years Air Export experience start to finish.
Role Involves:
· Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
· Completion of end-to-end forwarding activities when required.
· Follow strict and time sensitive SOPs/KPIs to ensure compliance.
· Work closely with internal and external customers.
· Use of CargoWise/MS office as requested.
· Ensure invoicing and job costing are updated within the required timeframe.
· Dealing with month end department compliance.
· Customs entries.
· Assist Supervisors and Line Manager where required.
· Ensure all reports including internal and customer specific are completed within the deadline.
· Resolve queries from Customers and Suppliers.
· Ensure Best Practice models are adopted.
· Resolve queries from Customers and Suppliers
· Ensure Best Practice models are adopted.
· Work closely with line managers to complete internal and external rate reviews.
· To take part in customer reviews when required.
· Always maintain customs and H & S complaint.
Experience:
· 2 to 4 years Air Export Start to Finish experience.
· Good Customs Clearance experience.
· Good Operational knowledge.
· A high level of customer service skills.
· Fully PC Literate and can pick up new systems.
· CargoWise experience advantageous.
· Knowledge of Customs Tariffs and procedures.
· Problem solving experience.
· Negotiation skills.
· Willingness to work flexible hours
· Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
Salary up to GBP35K depending on experience
