Air Freight Sales Executive

We are working with an established Freight Forwarder, who are looking to recruit a
Air Freight Sales Executive, based near Heathrow.

The role will have an unterritorial sales area selling a multi modal service but with a focus on mainly Air Freight Imports & Exports services globally. Managing the complete sales cycle from identifying prospective clients, making your own appointments, visiting clients to sell air and sea Imports and Export services worldwide. Working with the team at Heathrow, you can go after any size and type of customer.

If you are looking for a secure, expanding company with a strong network this could be the role for you. You are targeted on gross profit over the year.
The role Involves:
· Cold calling to prospective clients
· Sales Techniques
· Networking skills
· Selling at multi levels
· Presentation skills
· Solution selling
· Preparation of Sea & Air proposals and quotations.
· Good IT skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word & CRM

Experience needed:
· Minimum of 5 years experience selling Air Services or Equivalent experience gained while working for a competitor in an operational/ account management role.
· Self-motivated and driven.
· Market knowledge of Asia Air Import/Export Services and Market Rates.
· USA and South American Air Import/ Export Services and Market Rates.
· Middle East Import/Export Services and Market Rates
· Ocean Import & Export to all markets worldwide if possible.

Package:
· Basic Salary between GBP40-GBP50K depending on experience.
