We are working with an established Medium sized Freight Forwarder who have an exciting opportunity for an Air Import Operations Coordinator.
Role Involves:
· Deals directly with clients, customs, and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world.
· Prepare documents necessary to complete Import and customs clearance process.
· Correctly billing and cost information populated in TMF for accurate invoicing and job costing.
· Communicate & correspond with other branches and agents for customer satisfaction and ensure excellent service execution.
· Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customers requirement for the movement of freight.
· Communicate with customers regarding disposition of freight, tracking/tracing, routing, and dispatching and rate quotations.
· Knowledge of UK Import operations and regulations.
· KPI adherence - DNI/LNR/cost accuracy/ ROTP
· Knowledge of AOG and Time Critical services/solutions.
· Ensure Compliance in line with company and industry policies.
Requirements.
· 2-3 years Air Import Experience.
· Strong knowledge of rules, regulations for Import documentation.
· Strong verbal and written communication.
· Previous working within a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organisational skills.
· Good Knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
· AOG knowledge advantage
· Time critical experience advantage.
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
