Air or Sea Import Freight Operator required to bring experience and knowledge to support a new supply chain contract. TTP contract, with salary band GBP25,000-GBP30,000 plus many mores perks to add to your wishing pot!
Duties/responsibilities:
Covering all aspects of imports operations.
Ensuring the department process and expedite customers's orders/ deliveries are per client requirements.
Handling all customs and clearances procedures for Importing Freight
Air Import Customs Clearance -Entries
Fully compliant in all import procedures
Assisting the Import Manager with other duties deemed reasonable.
Skills/Requirements:
Previous experience in IMPORTS.
FREIGHT FORWARDING overall knowledge.
ERTS Bonded Warehouse Management experience -advantageous
Team player and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
Organized, attention to detail in order to meet tight deadlines.
Possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Customer orientated in order to maintain a high level of service.
In order to comply with DfT and CAA Security Regulations, a 5 year checkable reference history and clean DBS will be required for this role, due to the nature of the business.
