Working on a key account in which our client manages all projects and activities for them enabling staff to travel the world with their programme production equipment, controlling permits, movement of items to and from their support services.
The major projects are in News and Current Affairs, Drama, Sport, Natural History, Documentaries and Live Events but virtually all aspects of the programming cross our boundaries.
The role is 75% Airfreight and 25% Seafreight .
The role will be covering a 24/7 shift pattern,
Position Specification:
Support Company to understand issue and provide documentation (ATA Carnets) where necessary : Movement of staff with equipment, movement of equipment when unaccompanied
Compliance with HMRC regulations from and to UK
Compliance to regulations to and from Overseas countries, procuring carnet and other temporary Import and Export processes around the world
Compliance with inspection organisations, compliance with Export licensing issues
Compliance with client confidentiality issues
Intense interface with clients from all levels and from all areas of Company both in UK and abroad
In-depth freight knowledge for time sensitive freight movements
Support courier bookings
Support ferry bookings
Customs Knowledge
Customer meet and greets
Preparation of client reporting
Person Specification:
Excellent team player as all activities are under constant internal review to ensure customer requirements are met
Wide interest in the news of the world and knowledge of how to obtain background information from the internet
Good level of literacy as many clients do not have English as their first language - Necessary for business standard output.
Well versed in use of MS Excel and MS Word - Must be able to produce competent end documents on a daily basis.
General understand of Dangerous goods movements.
Good understanding of HMRC NES procedures.
Courteous, polite and professional communicator.
Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines.
Team Player
salary will be between GBP25,000 and GBP35,000
