Job Title: Forklift Driver with clamp experience
Shifts: Monday - Friday
ADHOC SHIFTS (DAYS & NIGHTS)
Forklift Driver job duties:
The purpose of the forklift driver is to:
· Ensure baled materials are removed from the baler in a timely a safe manner to either storage or the bale QC operative for checking,
· To ensure all baled are stacked in a safe and appropriate manner.
· To load out any trailers or containers with bailed product as directed.
· To unload any baled material coming into site as directed.
· To empty any bins of material within the plant as directed.
· To help complete any paper work associated with the role i.e. container loading sheets etc.
· To assist the bale QC operative as and when required.
· To assist with the yard maintenance i.e industrial broom, unloading deliveries etc.
· To assist with the maintenance of the SRF storage and processing area as requested.
· To be the site last point of quality control with regards to baled product being loaded for sale.
Forklift Driver job duties:
· Complete daily maintenance check sheets in full;
· Keep inside of cab clean and tidy;
· Ensure loads are clarified with the weighbridge prior to loading;
· Help complete any trailer inspection sheets as and when required;
· Ensure all bales are loaded safely in accordance to the procedure and in the correct place;
· Ensure that bales being placed outside are picked and cleaned and ready for loading;
· Ensure lorries are loaded in a timely manner;
· Communicate with supervisor & baler operator if bales are coming off baler containing a lot of contamination All plant operatives must leave their machine in a clean and suitable condition for the following shift. This will include:
· Diesel
· Engine/Hydraulic Oils
· AdBlue
· Greasing the machine up in full
· Blow out cab of engine filters and radiator
· Blow out and clean cab and any other duties required to maintain plant item

drivers, if certified, will be required to operate the other plant items as and when required. When the plant is not operating, all mobile plant operatives will be required to perform other duties and will be asked to complete other duties.
All mobile plant operatives will be required to cover a weekend loading day. This will be on a rota basis utilising all certified mobile plant operatives.
