Ocean Import Clerk required to join medium sized forwarder based close to the Billericay area
This is an excellent organisation to work for, and a very good opportunity for an individual with an Ocean Import background to join an industry leader.
The role will include the full range of Ocean Import duties, including:
Manage to day to day Sea Freight Operations
Coordinate the Import Bookings of Sea Freight jobs
Raising job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork
Processing job files through software system
To be responsible for the daily checking of all Sea freight jobs and ensuring clients are kept informed of any deviation to the agreed schedule
Extensive client liaison and negotiation
Managing the job to final invoicing in line with client expectations.
You will be from a Freight Forwarding background and have Sea Freight operations experience. Excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be a quick thinker, self motivated and have the ability to work with and support a team.
Hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
Salary is up to cGBP32k
