Import/Export Executive - Air/Sea/Road

We are seeking an experienced Import and Export Executive to join our dynamic team in our UK office.
Find the bullet points below we are looking for in the successful candidates to have.
· Have done Imports - air, sea, and road is a must as we do 85% of Imports
· Have done Exports + transhipments - we do 15 % of Export via air/sea/road (they will train on Exports)
· With good diverse knowledge of CHIEF and CDS
· Experience doing full Import and Export declarations + Pre lodged and pre - declarations, to know how to apply PVA and non-PVA etc.
· Know all types of HMRC bodies and the procedures for handling held freight such as PH/TS/BF/ DEFRA checks etc. Knowledge of how to deal with Routes 1, 1s, 2, 6 and accounting failures etc.
· Know and have worked with Destin8 /CNS/Compass/NCTS, GMVS, and ASM Sequoia software/systems.
· Have BIFA and CDS certificated Training
· Previous ETSF knowledge or similar, to have worked for Customs Agents with Customs Bonded warehouse.
· Have Excise goods knowledge or handling experience
· Live locally
· Be flexible to work Monday to Sunday as a work week ( 2 days off per week) and be able to work BH if needed
· Our opening times are 09:00h to 21:00h / This will be extended soon to 08:00h to 01:00h for our warehouse, but it can be required for an Ops person to cover evening shifts if needed.
· 8 hours shifts with a 1-hour unpaid break
· 28 days holidays per holiday year
· Ability to learn fast - our portal system handles all our jobs, invoicing, compliance checks, and push data to ASM and CDS.
· Internal and external Training will be provided
Our package can be negotiable, but we are looking to start someone on GBP25K to GBP28K, depending on the successful candidate's experience, after passing the probation period ( 4
months) and based on satisfactory and successful performance and contribution to the Business and the Company to review their salary at the end of the year completed.
