Operations Driver
We are looking for an Operations/Courier Delivery Driver to work on a permanent full-time basis, making collections and deliveries in and around London. The successful candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and an excellent communicator.
Shifts: Mon - Fri * 11:15 - 20:15
Salary: GBP23,000 per annum
Role Responsibilities:
· Collecting parcels and packages from the central depot and delivering these to specific addresses within greater London.
· Route planning to optimise efficiency and ensure parcels are delivered on time.
· Preventing damage or loss of packages during transit.
· Obtaining signed receipts and confirmation of each delivery.
· Communicating with the dispatch officer, receiving new delivery instructions, and providing status updates.
· Maintaining accurate records of parcel deliveries.
· Assist with the evening operations team with processing.
Role Requirements:
· Clean UK driving licence.
· Experience driving Transit and Luton vans.
· Proven experience working as a Courier Delivery Driver.
· Familiarity using GPS.
· Familiarity driving around London.
· Organised route planning skills.
· Customer service and communication skills.
