Multidrop Logistics Driver wanted to join busy express operations in the area of Leeds LS9.
In Return Basic rate: GBP12.90-GBP15.00ph (GBP30,000 + annually) + premium hours pay+ overtime+ 28 x holiday pay (annually)+ pension and many more! Great opportunity to join a well-established and successful organization. Great working atmosphere and a team that is responsible for delivering world-class service and time critical shipments. The role will be a 5 day working pattern across 7 days, so flexibility will be needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
A full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points and not have been disqualified in the last five years
Multi-drop experience (preferable)
An enthusiasm and passion to deliver the best service at all times
Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Be an ambassador for our well known Client; positively representing their brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van.
Sort and prioritise workload (including multiple route sort) to ensure time commitments are met. Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes. Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to an allocated and realistic number of shipments per day.
Complete daily safety checks, safe loading, securing load of vehicle, maintenance, legislative regulations and adherence to company driving standards (including tachograph vehicles).
Desired qualities:
Include experience of true multi drop collection or deliveries and good geographical knowledge, however this is not essential as all training and equipment will be provided.
