Night Warehouse Operative

First Choice Staff have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join a dynamic team. If you have previous experience working in a freight warehouse environment and hold a forklift license(s), we want to hear from you!

Location: Heathrow

Hours: 1800-0600, 4on-4off

Salary: GBP26,326 + GBP3,500 in shift allowance

Qualified candidates will get the additional allowances:
Screener Allowance: GBP2,500
ULD Builder: GBP2,000



Responsibilities:
· Managing the mailbox and promptly responding to enquiries
· Receiving inbound freight using inhouse WMS and booking in and processing outbound freight using the same systems.
· Safely loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift.
· Sorting and splitting freight according to customer SOP's
· Adhering to all procedures set by regulatory bodies, such as CAA, ETSF, as directed.
· handheld scanners
· Frequently performing manual handling tasks.
· Ensuring compliance with all health and safety and in-house procedures.
· Using all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as trained.

Requirements:
· At least 2 yrs experience within a freight warehouse environment
· Aviation security trained to level - Cargo Operative (essential)
· Aviation security trained to level - NXCT (preferred)
· At least 1 yrs experience working on a FLT (essential)
· Possession of a valid Counterbalance / Reach Truck license (both would be advantageous)
· ULD building experience (preferred)
· Proficiency in basic computer skills.
