We have an exciting opportunity for a Nights Aerospace Export Operations Specialist 4 on 4 off.
Working within a team environment undertaking a range of activities to support the Life Science Sector.
Role Involves:
· Export of Aerospace related shipments including AOGs, Engines and licenced goods.
· Booking Air Freight options for customers to ensure prompt delivery to worldwide destinations.
· Working closely with Transport departments to enable timely and cost-effective collection.
· Adhere to Customs Compliance procedures and documentation.
· Manage and build customer relationships.
· Complete customs.
· Customs entry for specialist License movements.
· Liaise directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise.
· Liaise directly with DGF departments on shipments planning and coordination,
· Liaise directly with overseas offices on shipments planning and coordination.
· Maintain and update DFT compliance.
· Manage allocated customers against agreed SOP.
· Use Cargo wise to create, manage and maintain Airfreight Shipments.
· Support Key Performance Indicators.
Experience.
· 2+ years experience within Freight Forwarding.
· Experience of HMRC procedures for Exports.
· 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent.
· Ability to follow processes.
· Knowledge of freight forwarding processes in Exports.
· Knowledge of Aerospace/AOG movements preferred but not necessary.
Hours 4 on 4 off 7pm-7am
Salary up to GBP33K depending on experience plus GBP4-4.5K shift pay.
