Pricing Analyst, Ocean Services - Europe

Job Description
Manage Ocean Pricing for RFQs from within EUROPE and manage EUROPE Ocean Pricing for RFQs generated in other regions.

Perform Analyst duties for Ocean Pricing in EUROPE with vision, leadership, energy, professionalism and support in conjunction with the Global Ocean Group(s), Sales and Account management

Additional Information
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate RFQs:

Review RFQ from CRM
Communicate with Sales, Account Management, Product and build strategy
Collaborate with stakeholders and Product
Perform data analysis using Excel and Power BI
Identify opportunities and challenges
Manage deadlines
Follow up on RFQ outcome

RFQ Execution:

Convert customer formats
Insert / integrate pricing based on tools and in line with strategy
Communicate to the field
Manage responses
Audit responses and make cohesive
Maintain communication per DRP (Document Retention Policy)

General Support:

Update RFQ Bid Log / Pricing Tool in a timely manner
Maintain RFQ tools such as local charges, Port to port rates and tariffs, as required
Support Supervisor/Manager where needed
Support team and Sales with pre-engagement for upcoming bids
Actively engage in and support Pricing projects assigned by Manager
Maintain adherence to The Companys policy and procedures while displaying and communicating The Companys goals and culture

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:

Knowledge:

Strong industry knowledge; notably with regards to pricing structure
Company policies and procedures knowledge
A good understanding of Companies products, services and systems

Excellent communication skills
Very detail oriented & strong analytical skills
Proactive, strong organizational skills
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
Ability to relate to employees at all levels
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (reporting, formatting, data modelling and performing complex calculations

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
Fluent in English; additional language is a bonus

Education and Experience:

3 years of industry specific qualification (country specific)

Salary up to GBP35K depending on experience
