Independent Freight Forwarder is now seeking to recruit a European Road & UK Transport Operator to join their expert Go-Go team. About the role.
Responsible for online bookings, manifesting daily export & import trailers, send related pre-advice, updating collection and delivery status in a timely manner.
Contacting hauliers to provide quotations for special collections/deliveries.
Transport planning for same day collections. Monitoring and deal with transport queries by liaising with other depots.
Customer service- dealing with queries from customers, subcontractors and drivers and assist in their enquiries via phone and email, ensuring satisfactory and timely resolution.
Working with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth and efficient movement of all shipments. Responsible for end-to-end control of all International & UK shipments.

Customer services focused, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates can do attitude.
Highly organised and a team player.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Additional Info
A permanent position with excellent career prospects.
Monday - Friday, 09:00am-17:30hrs-37.5hours
Salary Band=GBP25,000-GBP26,000
