Shipping Clerk (Road & Sea)
Employment basis:
· Full time / permanent
· Hours: 09:00 to 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
· Salary: GBP25k to GBP30k, depending on experience
Requirements:
· Previous experience in deep sea shipping essential
· Previous experience in road freight essential
· Competent in import/export customs procedures
· Knowledge of Cargowise software advantageous
· Computer literate - MS Office and MS Outlook
General duties:
· Import/export of EU road groupage trailers
· Import/export of worldwide deep-sea containers
· Creating files in our freight software
· Processing collection/delivery orders
· Arranging domestic transport
· Preparing clearance documentation
· Invoicing files
· Dealing with client/agent queries
