Our client is looking for an experienced Storage Co-Ordinator to join their expanding team

Working Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30

The Storage and inventory coordinator has overall responsibility for the efficient and accurate recording keeping of all client items, locations, labelling, dimension records and movements in and out of storage facilities.

The role will include both warehouse and office based work on computer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Opening new storage jobs and handle them at every step. Arrange all the paperwork: customer collections and deliveries, receiving and releasing notes, pick lists, packing notes.

Arranging specialist packing services and site visits when needed; ensuring all the items are recorded.

Assist shipping coordinators and the transport manager to make sure that the warehouse team is informed of items going in or out of storage in a timely manner.

Work closely with the warehouse manager to ensure a smooth handling of storage items and movements.

Support, guide and work with the warehouse team to ensure all items are labelled, recorded, measured and their location known at all times through the use of the companys storage system.

Manage the Fine Art storage inventory ensuring that all items are safely, efficiently and cost effectively moved in and out of store based on client instructions and following storage and inventory procedures. Recording all items into storage in a timely fashion.

Keeping accurate and up to date records of storage volumes, warehouse locations and storage box / rack positions for every account in all storage facilities.
Assisting project managers with complicated consolidations of goods for hold in storage prior to installation/project delivery
Assisting in the loading/unloading of all freight into the warehouse of goods for key accounts and projects
Key Attributes
Experience of working in a team with sales team, operations team, warehouse team and art handling technicians

Previous experience in a shipping company

Capable and willing to undertake physical activity in the handling, movement and installation of fine art items

A high level of confidence and experience of working with a variety of customers and suppliers

Excellent verbal and written communication skills both with clients and the Companys employees and Directors.

A strong focus on completing tasks to high standard and seeking better ways of working to improve companys standards

Excellent computer skills, fully conversant in Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel
Possess excellent attention to detail skills and be very organised
Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
A flexible approach to work and be capable of managing priorities
Ability to work on own initiative
Commercially focused considering end to end costs
