We are recruiting on behalf of an established freight forwarder, who are looking to add a Warehouse Administration Assistant to their team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their warehouse facility.
The successful candidate will have good initiative and the ability to think on their feet.
Responsibilities:
· Liaising with operations teams to plan in-house & third-party airport vehicles, scheduling the drivers for nightly collections and deliveries in line with priorities around flight departure close-out and storage costs.
· Sharing transport plans with the warehouse team, providing manifest for import consolidations & manifests for export deliveries accordingly.
· Controlling the security of, and issuing, vehicle seals for deliveries of export cargo.
· Customs record creation in our ETSF in a timely manner on confirmation of arrival to warehouse.
· Data entry to customs system to update receipt of cargo advised by warehouse, setting Status 1 on full arrival.
· Renominating customs records on receipt of instruction.
· Invoicing storage costs to any third-party users of our ETSF as applicable.
· Record keeping for console files for customs purposes for all freight moved through the ETSF.
· Monitoring the completion of weekly bond checks by the warehouse team.
· Assisting with inventory management and record keeping for storage customers
· Ordering wooden pallets when required.
· ULD stock control, arranging the collection of PMCs for export and return of import PMCs in line with operational requirements.
· Communicating with direct warehouse customers to action requests and resolve any queries.
· Prepare shipping documents, labels, and invoices as needed for outbound shipments for direct warehouse customers.
· Create weekly activity files for sales and purchase invoices.
· Reserve costs expected from suppliers on weekly activity file.
