JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor
REPORTING TO: Warehouse Manager
Being involved with the responsibility for the day to day running of the LHR Branch general warehousing operations including 3PL logistics services performed at Egham. Supervising staff and working alongside staff to ensure tasks are assigned, monitored and completed in an efficient and effective manner. Being mindful of succession planning and the recruitment, induction and training of personnel.
Key duties and responsibilities:
· Supervision of warehouse duties and day to day operations in compliance with relevant statutory legislation ie AEO, H&S, Dangerous Goods etc
· Working alongside colleagues to monitor customers orders and making sure that orders are completed within the expected timeframe
· Communicating with direct colleagues and other departments of the business.
· Ensure employees are trained, measured and supervised in the execution of Company operational processes and standards.
· Negotiate and monitor supplier contracts as necessary.
· Prepare accurate reports as/when requested.
· Assist in the selection and recruitment process.
· Complete employee appraisals for direct reports
· Ensure a clean, properly organised, safe, healthy and professional business facility and environment for personnel.
· Ensure any damages or shrinkage is fully investigated.
· Ensure that overtime and overheads are controlled and appropriately approved and administered.
· Working with and alongside colleagues to meet customer expectations.

· Preferably 1 years experience working within a Supervisory role, or experience working as a team-leader within a transit warehouse or 3PL environment. (will consider a candidate looking to take their first supervisory role)
· Ability to effect positive change, training others and support subordinates and peers
· Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, fast paced environment.
· Personable and able to create a culture of team working and collaboration
· Able to understand and improve established or processes or procedures.
· Preferably has experience using Warehouse Management Systems. Cargowise and Sage are our systems.
· Minimum 1 years experience working directly with customers.
· Passion and drive to deliver the best work

Key Performance Indicators:
· Regular check ins and appraisals.
· Customer feedback.
· Feedback from Management and Peers.
· Minimal escalations from clients and colleagues.
· Timelines are met for reporting and tasks.
· Ensure all orders are actioned in a timely manner and job files raised for every job.
· Meeting customers requests and deadlines (SLAs)
· Appropriate communications are maintained at all levels.
· Minimal escalations from clients and colleagues.
· Developing team members via coaching, training, and counselling including goal/objective setting and completion of annual appraisals.

Salary GBP30,000 to GBP33,000
