Key aspects of role
Take reservations and enter into ours and the airlines booking system. Make onward connection bookings .Liaise with the carrier for spot rates / contract rates .
Enter Permanent booking details. Monitor the daily freight on-hand for the main UK stations. Produce the booking sheet for the GHA. Provide the daily trucking instructions.
Update the flown shipments in our system. Post flight and enter the ratings for the flown shipments. Provide daily/weekly Ad-hoc information to the carrier.
Provide customer service and find solutions for any problems encountered. Supplier invoice checking. Any other duties deemed necessary or advised by the management.
Previous experience in cargo aviation or air logistics or freight forwarding is essential.
