Job Description

Job Summary - Responsible for office administration

Key Roles and Responsibilities

· Open all official post and distribute it accordingly. Ensure that all outgoing mail is franked and ready for collection by the end of each day

· Produce Sales invoices for customs entries
· Ensure Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are filed if applicable
· Book transportation/taxis for visitors (approved suppliers) as and when required

· Distribute all sales invoices and associated paperwork for the import export department to customers
· File all documentation for the import and export departments
· Ensure that the maintenance team only file relevant archived files
· File all paid and unpaid invoices for the Finance department
· Stationary inventory and ordering
· Maintain good housekeeping of work area at all times

Health and Safety Responsibility

Report all accidents and near misses to the Health and Safety Manager without delay
Read and follow any risk assessments and safe systems of work

Follow the company Health and Safety and Environmental Policy
Isolate and report all faulty equipment to the line manager without delay
· Maintain good housekeeping of work area at all times
Human Resources Responsibility
· Ensure compliance with the Employee Handbook
· Report Discipline and Grievance issues to the line manager immediately
· Report non-attendance and sickness absence without delay to line manager
· Report any sickness absence without delay to the line manager

Previous experience in the Freight industry required

The hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary GBP18,000 to GBP22,000
