This role is for a Breakfast Manager based in a 4/5* hotel near Bagshot.
Position Overview
To have a key focus on the breakfast service within the restaurant and ensure the standards are exceeded on a daily basis on both food and service.
To ensure our standards and procedures throughout the restaurant are achieved and adhered to on a daily basis, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions & Physical Requirements
To be responsible for the smooth running of the shift
Create and maintain a team environment and to motivate and train team members to achieve the required standards, therefore meeting and exceeding the guests expectations
Direct and support the team in their daily responsibilities during service
Maintain high levels of communication with the kitchen
Ensure timely order to delivery of each part of the breakfast service with accuracy
Ensure that restaurant and appropriate back of house and preparation areas are kept clean and orderly at all times.
Guarantee that a quality service and product is delivered is delivered to our guests at all times.
Ensure that all restaurant documentation is accurate, clean and available at all times.
To have a high level of presence within the restaurant and to be confident in communicating with guests to ensure that their expectations are met and exceed.
Care for the welfare of the restaurant team and to discuss with the Director of Restaurants, areas that may require attention.
Ensure that all restaurant billing and cashiering is conducted as per the required standards.
Lead by example through a hands on approach in order to motivate and coach the restaurant team to excel.
Along with your main duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required
You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the hotel needs, with prior agreement between yourself and your Line manager you may be asked to support with dinner service.
Qualifications and Desirables
Fine dining experience
Hotel school diploma or equivalent would be ideal
5 star hotel experience
Michelin star background
Strong food & wine knowledge
Immaculate presentation
Supervisory experience
Team player
Motivator and inspirational leader
