This vacancy is based in a Berkshire hotel. They are currently looking for a Sous Chef but are flexible whether it is a junior or senior position and then progress from there.
Duties & Key Responsibilities;
Ensure all food preparation is to the specification asked
Deputise for the head chef in their absense
Ensure all recipes and preparation is met
Prepare food at a quick pace
Ensure temp, seasoning & flavours are to specifications
Ensure any problems or concerns are sent to the head chef
Ensure the storage is met to the Health and safety requirments
Reduce food wastage
Generate Menu Ideas
Contribute for the head chef so training and rota planning
Comply and implement
Comply with Allergen Requirements
Comply with COSHH requirements
Lead by example
Praise and recognise
Demonstrate good verbal skills
Be pro active
Have experience in Hotels
Demonstrate you having problems and opportunties and how you deal with them
Promote a positive perception of the company at all times
The salary is starting from 24K - 28K depending on your experience.
The shifts will be mixed from spilt to weekends and you will be asked to work bank holidays.
