This position of Freight Customer Service Operator, requires a candidate who is hard working and can communicate across all levels with customers, as well as build relationships suppliers and 3rd party service providers.

We are seeking a candidate who has a desire and willingness to learn and is seeking to carve out a career in the International Freight, Shipping and Logistics industry.

We are working with a global shipping organisation who are seeking to recruit a FREIGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR to work in their Birmingham based operation.

The role requires a customer service focused individual who possesses excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be handling AIRFREIGHT shipments and duties will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Quoting customers, and making bookings,
  • Liaising with Airlines and hauliers,
  • Building relationships with overseas offices
  • Arranging collections and deliveries,
  • Managing customer expectations,
  • Resolving any issues and answering queries
  • Processing Shipments through to delivery,
  • Billing out and invoicing
