The Facilities Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping and Support Service department in accordance with the clients standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care is always maintained. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing hourly staff.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role:
the daily activities of the Housekeeping and Support Service departments to include appropriate cleaning and set ups of all Bedrooms, offices, Public Areas, washrooms, and Coffee Areas and meeting rooms.
Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
Daily supervision of the housekeeping and Support Service staff, including the day, event and post-event staff.
Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping and Support Services supplies and inventory.
Conduct pre-event inspections of all bedrooms rooms and meeting rooms, and public areas prior to the guest and clients checking in or using their meeting room.
Recruit, schedule and train all new atypical housekeeping staff members.
Maintain the housekeeping and Technical service budget, providing regular updates on both budgets within the management account.
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct
Knowledge of COSSH and safety standards within Housekeeping department.
Determines and maintains the department work schedule used to notify staff of upcoming events and ensure proper preparation and staffing for each event.
Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment;
Supervise and organise the Support Services and Housekeeping department rota.

To set up and maintain all Equipment and system
To be the first point of contact for external support companies relating to the AV/IT System
To provide professional support to all clients and staff in areas of basic maintenance and housekeeping.
Provide and ensure a friendly, efficient and professional customer service to all visitors and employees and consistently exceed their expectations
Maintain and develop existing processes and procedures, use of all internal systems and equipment to support business objectives.
Co-ordinate, develop and promote brand, services and products at all times.
Salary is up to 26k
Mixed shifts but these will include weekends
