Job Description
Airfreight Import Operator wanted to join International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider; Manchester based. Recognised for their bespoke services and customer dedicated support; especially in an industry that has undergone so major changes and mergers. They are continuing to strive by standing with their workforce united, professional and thinking positively.
Duties/responsibilities:
Airfreight Imports Operations.
Quotations for clients and overseas agemnts.
Door to door shipments.
Prepare and submit customs entries.
Fully compliant in all freight/shipping procedures.
Monitor ETA and advise of any charges.
Updating customers with the status of their shipments.
Ensuring each Customer receives all required documenattion.
Dealing with queries and problem solving
Providing excellent customer services across all levels
Invoicing jobs in a timely manner.
Main focus Air Imports whilst assisting at busy periods on Air Exports to ensure operations run smoothly and customer is satisfied.
Skills/Requirements:
1-3 years proven AIRFREIGHT operational experience.
Strong on Imports with some Exports.
Use of Cargowise and Microsoft packages.
Well organized, attention to detail.
Copmmercial awareness.
Great communication skills (written and verbal).
Customer services orientated.
Effective time management and working practises.
