Job Description
Our client is looking for a Billing Specialist to cover up to 14 months maternity leave on a Temp basis.
You will need advanced computer skills with emphasis on MS office suite. The ability to work to deadlines. Experience in Logistics and a good level of general education.
General Duties/Responsibilities
Perform timely revenue recognition by invoicing customers quickly + accurately
Any disputes / queries from customer related to invoices must be settled on priority basis to
avoid bad debts / Credit notes
Work closely with stakeholders like RFP, Sales, Finance, and Operations etc. to address tariffs,
irregularities /discrepancies.
Send invoices to customer in timely manner via email / portal as per customer SOP.
Basic knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint for reporting and presentation purposes.
Ensure timely closing of FSL for all billed files
A high level of attention to details is a must, coupled with communication and organisational
skills.
Must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
Finally set aside sufficient time to analyse P/L of a job and provide management with insights +
recommendations to optimize profitability on customer level.
The hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary GBP12 to GBP15 per hour based on experience
