Job Description
Our clients are looking for an Air Export Clerk with a minimum of 3 years experience
Main duties:
Quoting
Dealing directly with shippers and overseas agents
Exports Customs Entries
Invoicing
Completing varied export jobs from start to finish
Occasionally arranging road freight shipments, entries, T1 declarations.
Be part of Export on call rota - 1 week in 8, which would include weekend coverage (remotely - from 6pm Friday - 9am the following Friday)
Boxtop or Sequioa experience would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given
Person specification (inc. technical/professional requirements)
Required qualifications:
Level CO AvSec trained desirable but not essential as training can be provided
Required experience:
Min 3 years air export experience
Personal skills:
Good communication
Well-organised - Able to prioritise workloads and work under pressure
Good commercial awareness
Hours would be 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Salary up to GBP37K depending on experience
