Job Description
We are working with an established company who are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager.
We are looking for experience within either GSA, Airline or Freight Forwarder ( with airfreight experience) to grow existing clients business and well as bringing in new business.
Job Purpose:
The Account Manager will provide cost effective service solutions to clients, ensuring profitable returns to our carriers and organisation. The individual will be responsible for maintaining current business lanes and developing further business from these clients, across all partner airlines along with actively seeking new opportunities within the territory and driving the overall success of the entire region.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Responsibility for revenues being generated in the Region.
· Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customer base and as escalation point for ISRs within the region.
· Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships.
· Negotiate contract rates on regular lanes and close agreements to the benefit of our partner airlines.
· Develop new business with existing and new clients.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partner airlines.
· Communicate clearly the progress of sales initiatives.
· Collaborate with the internal Sales Desk to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
· Conduct relevant market research to identify opportunities for continued growth from region.
· Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on airlines products and services.
· Prepare reports on sales progress, key account activity and development of specific opportunities and requirements.
· Monthly airline reports detailing ongoing activity and development within the region.
· Achieve and surpass personal key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications & Experience:
· Experience in a Cargo Sales/Operations environment, ideally within an Airline/GSA/Freight Forwarder
· Understanding of Airline Cargo sales and pricing strategies
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Power Bi and Excel
· Excellent presentation skills.
· Ability to negotiate effectively.
· Highly motivated, and pro-active with the ability to work on own initiative.
· Valid driving licence.
Salary depends on experience, also quarterly incentive up to GBP2000 + Company Car
