New opportunity has become available within a well-established medium sized Freight Forwarder based in Colnbrook

This is a Trainee Import Clerk position therefore full training will be provided however the successful candidate must be able to communicate well both verbally and written

You will be required to use an in-house IT system and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Duties will include but not limited to :

Import Entries/Clearances
Liaising with customers, airlines and other company branches
Arranging deliveries/collections
AOGs and Call Outs
Updating spreadsheets
to poor public transport serving this location; candidate must possess their own transport and full UK driving licence.

Salary is between GBP15,000 - GBP17,000 depending on previous office experience, will also include pension scheme, medical cover, overtime and possible bonus payments annually.

Hours are Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30. There is also out of hours requirements therefore staff must be willing to work evenings and weekends occasionally (once fully trained), which is rewarded generously.
AOG on call is on a rotation basis and might be a 1 in 6 set up but it depends on how many staff are on the rota.
