Our Client is well established with owned offices around the globe, well known for their forward-thinking approach and they are experts in their kind. Due to the volume of business coming in, we are now recruiting on their behalf a well seasoned FCL/LCL Inside Sales & Customer Care. Be part of a team who aspire to be exceptional!!
Overall you will be providing the highest level of Customer Service in the industry through prompt, competitive rate quotations, complete and accurate bookings and a high degree of professional communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
v Quoting customers to defined KPIs providing good customer service.
v Quotes to be prepared using our contract rates we have filed and presented to clients via our operating system.
v Building relationships with shipping lines, suppliers and clients to the benefit of the business.
v Generating leads and opportunities working with external sales to extend our existing client base.
v Targeted follow up looking to increase conversion.
v Present and demo our FCL digital platform to customers to increase online usage and therefore increase our capacity for proactive calls.
v Liaising with our head office and overseas offices by phone and email.
Skills/Requirements:
v Previous experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding, Shipping or Liner, Exports/Imports.
v Excellent communication and listening skills.
v Enjoy working with customers and building relationships.
v Initiative, flexibility and able to think out of the box!
v Positive attitude and target driven.
Salary Band: GBPDepending on experience
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
