Recruiting NOW for an experienced Multimodal Export Freight Forwarder; your time to join a globally renowned Freight Forwarder, East Yorkshire based!International Transportation and Logistics, Exports SEA*ROAD*AIR operations. To provide an excellent customer service experience for global customers including clearances, quotes,arranging shipment/deliveries, invoicing and all other functions as required. Challenging but exciting times with niche business on board and a well rewarding overall package for you in return!!
What does the role entail?
Freight Export Operations (start to finish).
Assisting Freight Team and Management where required.
Working closely with internal/external customers.
Focusing on customer services.
Negotiating with suppliers cost rates and quoting customers accordingly.
Quoting.
Export Customs entries/clearances /customs tariffs/documentation.
Remaining in contact with customers and suppliers.
Resolving queries from customers and suppliers.
Export processes and procedures.
Cost Control.
Ensuring all reports including interna; and customer specific are completed with allocated timeframe.
Taking part in delivering results, building visibility and customer development.
To qualify?
Freight Forwarding Exports-Essential
Export Customs-Essential
Knowledgeable up to date with export processes, procedures, documentation, terms and other
Use own initiative and make decisions
Commercial and financial awareness
Excellent communications skills across all boards and circumstances
Able to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
Able to assist the business operations, daily work activities and full Customer attention
Flexible in approach and happy to work as required including weekends.
Good knowledge of IT Freight/Logistics systems and processes

Salary Band GBP28,000-GBP32,000+other
