Contract Logistics Operations Clerk/Contract Logistics Warehouse Administrator
80% of this role will be desk work within the office on email, talking to customers, running picks on the WHMS, using CargoWise.
20% will be communicating back and forth with the warehouse team ensuring that they know what they are picking. And then this could mean getting their hands dirty picking up the odd box, but not using a FLT in anyway.
It is a fast paced environment and does need someone who has a strong ability to multi task and prioritise workloads and handle the stress of this environment.
A strong administration background and ideally someone who has worked with warehouse managements systems before on the administration.
Could possibly look at the junior operations clerks that have strong administration/customer service backgrounds as they have industry awareness of logistics/parcel movement.
They will be working under the Contract Logistic Supervisor, therefore not looking for management history within the roles.
There can be a language barrier with some of the warehouse operatives, therefore they do need to have some patience to communicate requirements effectively
Hours are not moveable - they are still 9am - 6pm.
However salary is movable and can look at GBP24-27k bracket for the right person.
Start date: asap.
Annual leave: 31 days starting out, rising after 5 years service.
Sickness: 5 full days and 5 half days paid in full after 6 month probation completion.
