Transport Planner Multi Drop Operation - Immediate Starter
Our client is looking for a candidate to join their growing team. Must be from A multi drop PALLET background.
Duties include planning collection and delivery schedules, liaising with operation team when organising own transport arrangements or using sub contractors ensuring effective and profit solution, ensuring legal processes are carried out correctly i.e. Digi-Card downloads, producing KPI reports, promoting safe and legal working across the whole business, supporting Shift manager efficiently to ensure smooth handover of team members with regards to shifts and also planning for peak and seasonal periods as well as other administration duties in day to day operations.
Must be able to control up to 22 vehicles. Transport Admin duties.
The right candidate should have a legal and technical knowledge of LGV operations, Health and Safety awareness, excellent customer services, multi tasked and work to tight deadlines and posses a good Geographical knowledge of the UK.
Must Have Freight Forwarding experience.
They operate 30 x 18T vehicles per day and this person would be responsible for the majority of around 22 vehicles
they operate in a very busy & manual system which requires good knowledge of the South east of the UK
