As part of a busy environment, the successful client will be expected to be equally effective in both team play and the ability to work on own initiative.
Working within the Business department in a mainly administrative role, daily responsibilities will include:
Promoting Services whenever possible
Handling day to day quotations mainly by email (both export and import)
Negotiating with customers in collaboration with central pricing centre
Ensuring that the correct rates as quoted and agreed are filed in Yang Mings rate filing database and entered to bookings when made
Calling customers to check for market information
Supporting the outside Sales personnel as necessary
Investigating any query relating to costs and invoices from both customers and other departments/offices.
Raising any credit notes, revised invoices and manifest amendments in event of incorrect rating at time of booking.
