Export Operator

To expedite outbound movements on behalf of clients
· Ensure excellent customer service.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements
· Completion of export documents from start to finish
· Completion of export customs entry to be under various CPCs
· End to end monitoring of outbound movements
· Day to day invoicing and job costing
· Communication with overseas offices/partners
· Regularly updating customers monthly rates
· Quoting new traffic
· Ensure all enquiries or other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently
· Ensuring we meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information
· Ensuring any PM queries are cleared within KPI timeframe
· Collecting VAT/Duty from customers if required
· Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within the site department to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service
to the client and their customers
· Administer the operating procedures as defined by the client
· Compile daily reports on outstanding collections/deliveries
· Communicate daily on deviations to the transport plan put in place
· Manage suppliers and the service they provide to us, directly and through the Product Manager
· Customer service is paramount and relationship building is essential from day one
· Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
· Good telephone manner and customer service skills are essential
· Attention to detail
· Friendly, calm and professional manner
· Ability to handle pressure and good time-management
· Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
· Enthusiasm and self-motivation
