Commercial Pricing
Responsibilities:
· To provide quotations to local customer base on air and ocean freight export, import & cross trades.
· To ensure those quotations are commercially aware, with very best pricing delivered for very best opportunities.
· To prioritise opportunities for swift and decisive follow up.
· To measure success rate and improve win ratio
· To gain detailed understanding of Air & Ocean services offered through our own services and also direct carrier options
· To ensure our rates remain competitive in the market.
· To meet with the manager regularly to review progress and update objectives
· To support local Sales team with quotations.
· To meet with suppliers to discuss commercial pricing supported by management and supervisors when / where appropriate
· To have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
· To have the ability to deal professionally with customers both internal and
· External customers.
· To compile a monthly report relating to business wins / Losses
· To report market feedback to Management.
· To compile regular reports to show win rations, GP success, turnover etc.
· To work as part of a team and demonstrate true team spirit

Experience / Knowledge:
· Understand Pricing, Market trends and Industry
· At least 3 years Industry Experience
· Self-Driven
· Use own initiative
· Accuracy and due diligence
· Team Player
· Minimum GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) essential
09:00 - 17:30 / Monday to Friday
